Your new role
As Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects from inception through to completion. Working closely with commercial, technical and site teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
You will lead multidisciplinary project teams, manage client relationships and coordinate all aspects of project delivery across a range of highways, infrastructure and utility schemes.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing civil engineering and infrastructure projects from award through to handover
Leading Site Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and subcontractors to achieve project objectives
Overseeing highways, public realm, drainage, utilities and general infrastructure works
Managing project programmes, resources and site activities
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
Chairing progress meetings and coordinating project delivery teams
Monitoring project performance, costs, risk and programme compliance
Supporting commercial teams with variations, compensation events and change management
Reviewing and maintaining construction programmes and look-ahead plans
Managing procurement activities, resource allocation and subcontractor performance
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards
