Hays Education are working in partnership with a nurturing and well-established nursery setting in Burscough to recruit a passionate and dedicated nursery practitioner. Your new role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's early learning and development, helping to create positive experiences during these crucial formative years. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality childcare and educational activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 years
Planning and participating in engaging age-appropriate activities
Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Observing, monitoring, and recording children's progress
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating nursery environment
Supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development
Ensuring safeguarding procedures and nursery policies are followed at all times
What you'll need to succeed
A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
A good understanding of the EYFS framework
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
