Building Surveyor - Preston

Your new company Fantastic new opportunity to join an established successful consultancy now looking for a Building Surveyor to join the team in Preston. This is a hybrid working role working across the public sector with a lot of work on education schemes. Offering full support to become chartered in a dynamic supportive team. The role would ideally suit someone with a few years of demonstrable industry experience. Your new role Design and manage construction projects, overseeing the planning, execution, and completion stages to ensure compliance with specifications, regulations, and client requirements Administer construction contracts, such as JCT forms, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions, payment schedules, and dispute resolution procedures. Financial management of construction projects and reporting to clients. Conduct thorough site inspections and surveys of buildings, including residential and commercial properties. Utilise various tools and techniques to assess the condition of buildings, identifying structural issues, defects, and potential hazards. Prepare detailed reports outlining survey findings, project proposals, and recommendations for repairs, maintenance, or renovation Provide expert advice and guidance to clients regarding building regulations, codes, standards, and compliance requirements throughout the project life cycle.
