A growing organisation is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to provide immediate support to the finance team during a busy period. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking for a flexible, part-time interim assignment where they can quickly add value and support the day-to-day running of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments
- Raising sales invoices and supporting credit control activities
- Reconciling bank accounts and finance records
- Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
- Managing employee expense claims
- Handling supplier and customer queries
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Bookkeeping role
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Experience using finance systems such as Sage, Xero, Dynamics, SAP or similar
- Competent Excel user including reconciliations and basic formulas
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
