An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an organisation delivering digital and data solutions within a technically focused environment.The GIS and Data team is responsible for managing and delivering an integrated spatial platform supporting operational and strategic services. The technology environment includes Esri ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online and complementary open-source technologies.
The platform is currently undergoing significant redevelopment as part of a wider digital transformation programme, transitioning towards a modern digital infrastructure.This transformation will support increasing use of mobile technologies, remote sensing, data science and the development of new data products and services.The team also works closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver targeted GIS solutions aligned to specific operational and strategic requirements.
Job Description
The Business Analyst will play a key role within the GIS and Data team, supporting the successful coordination and delivery of a range of GIS and digital projects.The role combines business analysis, project delivery and stakeholder engagement, alongside supporting Agile ways of working. There will also be an element of coaching and supporting colleagues in the effective use of Azure DevOps.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing their own workload while contributing to wider team and programme objectives.
You will be a confident communicator, capable of explaining requirements and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge and experience of:
Project delivery frameworks and best practice
Azure DevOps
Agile delivery environments
Business analysis and requirements gathering
Digital, data or technology projects
