We are working on behalf of an SEN school who are looking for a teacher to carry out long-term cover on an ongoing basis.
The details are as follows:
- The school is based approximately a 15-minute drive from Birmingham city centre and is located in the north of the city
- The role is to start as soon as possible, and they will be teaching general subjects within their post-16 provision
- The role is part-time, 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday of each week on a term-time only time sheet basis
- You will be teaching a class of post 16 students who have SEN, including SLD, MLD, and ASC
- All students have an Education Health Care Plan or are in the process of receiving one and the class is supported by at least two full-time Teaching Assistants
- The school are looking for someone who is experienced in teaching and nurturing pupils with complex SEN and Hays Education will require recent school-based references that reflect that experience
- The school is well resourced and hugely supportive of any staff working on a temporary basis
