Are you a passionate History Teacher looking for a new opportunity from January?We are working with a secondary school in Birmingham that is looking to appoint a confident and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their team from January 2027.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging History lessons across the curriculum.
The Role
- Teaching History across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
- Assessing, marking and providing constructive feedback
- Supporting students in preparing for their GCSE examinations
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement
- Carrying out the wider responsibilities expected of a classroom teacher
- Working collaboratively with colleagues within the department
What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified teacher with experience teaching History
- Be confident teaching History to GCSE level
- Have strong curriculum and subject knowledge
- Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management
- Be passionate about helping students make progress
- Be available to start in January 2027
