A well-established and growing construction business in East Yorkshire is seeking a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join its senior finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, partner with operational leadership teams, and drive financial performance across a key division of the business.

The OpportunityAs Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with divisional leadership, providing robust financial analysis, commercial challenge, and strategic support across a portfolio of projects and operational activities.
You will act as the link between finance and operational teams, helping to ensure projects remain commercially viable, budgets are effectively managed, and business objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with operational and divisional leaders to support strategic and commercial decision-making.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and performance reporting to drive business improvement.
- Monitor and analyse project profitability, costs, margins, and financial performance.
- Support the preparation, management, and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
- Produce detailed financial reports, including variance analysis and performance commentary.
- Provide financial guidance and challenge to project and operational teams.
- Identify financial risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across financial processes and controls.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
