Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience before embarking on teacher training? We are seeking enthusiastic graduates to work in secondary schools, supporting students across KS3 and KS4. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a future career in teaching, offering valuable hands-on experience within the classroom while developing key skills in behaviour management, lesson delivery and student engagement.

Depending on your subject specialism and experience, your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom
  • Delivering small-group interventions
  • Providing one-to-one support to students
  • Covering lessons in the absence of teachers
  • Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom activities
  • Supporting students to achieve their academic potential

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • A degree in any subject
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence, resilience and enthusiasm
  • Experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential
