Are you an organised and proactive finance professional looking for a varied part-time role within a friendly, collaborative business?This business are seeking a Finance Administrator to join a small and supportive finance team.
This is a hands-on position offering a broad range of responsibilities across accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, reporting, and general business administration.
You'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day financial operations, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while helping maintain strong financial controls.
Key responsibilities include
- Processing and managing supplier invoices
- Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
- Supporting credit control activities and chasing outstanding payments
- Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
- Allocating receipts and processing journals
- Assisting with month-end reconciliations and reporting
- Supporting audit requirements and financial record keeping
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve finance queries
- Supporting process improvements and wider administrative tasks
- What you'll need to succeed
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a varied role and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or Finance Administrator position
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good Excel skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- The ability to manage workloads independently and prioritise effectively
- Experience using finance systems such as Xero or similar accounting software would be advantageous.
