ActivePivot Developer - Credit Risk / Market Risk, Banking, Java
Up to £950 per day (Inside IR35 - Umbrella)
London / Hybrid (2 days per week on-site - flexible)
Initially until the end of March 2027
My client is a Global Banking organisation who are hiring an ActivePivot Develope r with a strong background in Software Engineering utilising Java, with strong Front Office Banking domain expertise, specifically within Credit Risk / Market Risk to work on a business-critical Enterprise Risk Platform.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in ActivePivot Development
Demonstrable Software Engineering expertise in a Front Office, Trading (Investment Banking) environment with specific experience within Credit Risk / Market Risk
Proven Development background in Java, building real applications
Strong knowledge of ActivePivot versions 5/6+
Ability to clearly describe what has personally been built, including schema design, performance optimisation and technical problem-solving relating to ActivePivot
Experience with regulatory capital frameworks (i.e. Basel 2.5 / FRTB etc.)
Development capability across full-lifecycle delivery, technical analysis, performance tuning, integration technologies, databases, testing, continuous integration and delivery, and relevant UI (ActiveUI / Atoti UI) or data-platform exposure
Nice to have:
Relational database implementation experience (Snowflake / MongoDB)
Proficiency in Agile Software Engineering practices, including Test-Driven (TDD) or Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), peer review, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
