Your New Role
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons to Year 5 pupils. Your duties will include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Using effective assessment techniques to monitor and support pupil progress
- Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Collaborating with colleagues, teaching assistants, and leadership teams
- Maintaining strong communication with parents and carers
- Adhering to all safeguarding policies and ensuring pupil wellbeing at all times
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience within Key Stage 2 (Year 5 preferred)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- A proactive and enthusiastic teaching approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
