Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Blackpool area to recruit a talented teacher to take on the split teaching of Year 3 and Year 5 classes from September. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, community focused school where staff wellbeing, high quality teaching and positive relationships are at the heart of everything they do.
Your new role
As the class teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, well structured lessons that meet the needs of both year groups
- Plan creatively to ensure progression across lower and upper KS2
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with the wider KS2 team
- Assess, track and report on pupil progress
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
This role would suit a confident practitioner who enjoys challenge, differentiation and bringing learning to life.
What you’ll need to succeed
We are looking for a teacher who is:
- Passionate about delivering high quality KS2 teaching
- Skilled in adapting learning for mixed age groups
- Confident with behaviour management and classroom organisation
- Committed to raising attainment and nurturing pupil confidence
- Reliable, reflective and eager to contribute to school life
