Hays Education are working in partnership with a warm and nurturing nursery setting in Wolverhampton to recruit a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. This is a part-time role, ideal for a passionate early year's practitioner who is confident about supporting young children in their crucial developmental stages. This well-established nursery prides itself on creating a caring, inclusive environment where children aged 2-4 are encouraged to explore, learn and grow through play-based learning. The setting promotes strong relationships, independence and curiosity, ensuring every child feels safe, valued and supported.
As a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Take responsibility for a small key group of children aged 2-3
- Support their learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, staff and parents
- Contribute to a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment
- Observe, assess and record children's progress
What you'll need to succeed:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
- Experience working with children aged 2-3 years
- Confidence managing a small group of key children
- A caring, patient and proactive approach
- A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one via Hays)
