A school in the Wigan area has approached Hays seeking to secure a Year 4 teacher to start in September to cover through until the February half-term as a minimum. You will be joining a team of strong and supportive staff members dedicated to enabling every pupil to flourish both academically and personally. This school is seeking applications from both experienced and newly qualified candidates with experience in a Year 4 classroom who can showcase their skill and subject knowledge within such year group.
In this job role you will be responsible for planning and delivering fun and creative lessons to ensure that pupils are engaged. Experience dealing with SEN pupils would be desirable but not essential, and it is important for you to work closely with the other teachers and TAs to ensure pupils are progressing.
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children. Subject leadership is desired, but not essential for this role. Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECTs and NQTs are also welcome to apply.
You need to be a good team player, have good time management and behaviour management skills. NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply for the role.
