Your New Role As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support a Y6 child working closely with teachers to create a positive and engaging learning environment. You must be able to manage SEN behaviour, creating a calm and controlled environment for him in the school. Having a background or passion for sport is desirable, as the child enjoys sports, and it is used to create a relaxing environment for him. Teaching Assistant/Childcare qualification or care experience Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting Positive, proactive and supportive approach Strong communication skills Ability to use your own initiative A genuine passion for helping children learn and succeed Passion for sport Good with SEN childrenWe believe attitude is just as important as experience.
