Your new role As a Teaching Assistant, you will be able to support an early years child by working alongside the teacher to help manage daily routines and learning activities. You may assist small groups of children as well with tasks. Generally, provide support to a child 1 to 1 as well as being able to modify challenging behaviour if needed by creating a positive and engaging learning environment. This is a flexible and rewarding role where your contribution makes a real difference every day.
What you will need to succeed To be able to become a Teaching Assistant, you will need to have a Teaching Assistant Qualification or have relevant transferable experience (care or something similar).
