Your new school:

You will be working for Hays as bank staff where you will be placed in various settings including primary and secondary schools. You will be working with children aged 4 to 16 years, which can be tailored to your preferences. You will be able to work in your desired location across Eastbourne and Hailsham and work around your own commitments. When the schools are open, we will help support you with as much or as little work as you need.

Your new role:

As a teaching assistant, you will be expected to support settings, working where required; supporting the pupils with their learning, helping set up and tidy the rooms, working with the children and ensuring the environment is safe at all times. You won’t be expected to complete any learning diaries, so this is a great opportunity to gain confidence and learn new skills. The role as a temporary teaching assistant means you have complete flexibility over the days you would like to work week by week.

What you’ll need to succeed:

We are ideally looking for Level 2 or Level 3 qualified teaching assistants. However, we are open to unqualified candidates that have recent relevant experience that can be referenced.
