Are you looking for a rewarding role supporting children in their educational journey this September? Hays Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a range of local primary schools in Druids Heath, B14 and surrounding areas.

Your new role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be working in primary school settings, supporting pupils both in the classroom and on a one-to-one basis. You'll help deliver engaging lessons and provide tailored support, including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a flexible supply role, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities to suit your availability starting in the new academic year.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (NVQ, NCFE, CACHE or equivalent) preferred
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
  • Understanding or experience of working with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A flexible and proactive approach to working in different school environments
