Your new company Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Smethwick to recruit an experienced Class Teacher for a 1-year fixed term contract, starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a salaried, direct contract with the school within a highly supportive and collaborative environment.
Your new role You will join a committed and supportive team, delivering high-quality teaching and learning to primary-aged pupils. The role is ideal for an experienced classroom practitioner who can make an immediate impact and contribute positively to pupil outcomes. This will be in LKS3 (Year 3 or Year 4). You will take on the full teaching responsibilities, including planning, assessments, marking and parents evening etc.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching within a primary school setting
- Strong classroom management and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
- A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and pupil progress
