Your new company is a welcoming Sheffield secondary school looking for an enthusiastic and organised temporary Receptionist to join their team from September. Your new role

No two days on reception are ever the same! As the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors and staff, you'll be the face and voice of the school. You'll play a key role in keeping the front office running smoothly while delivering excellent customer service with a smile.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Managing the busy school telephone system
  • Responding to emails and enquiries
  • Checking visitors and contractors in and out of school
  • General administrative support
  • Accepting and processing deliveries
  • Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service

We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a willingness to get stuck in. Schools are busy environments, so you'll need to be organised, proactive and adaptable.

Previous school office or reception experience would be highly advantageous. We will need to be able to obtain references to cover the last 2 years as a minimum and you will need to be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check if you don't already have a DBS on the update service.
