Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We're seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join inclusive and welcoming schools across the Wellingborough area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom while developing your experience within a supportive and nurturing school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
- Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support the delivery of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
- Support pupils with communication, sensory, emotional, and social development.
- Assist with classroom organisation and inclusive learning activities to meet individual needs.
What We're Looking For
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to supporting children.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience working with children with SEN, autism, or learning difficulties is highly desirable.
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
