Your new school Hays Education are working with a number of inclusive and supportive primary schools in the Bournville (B30) area who are looking to appoint caring, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants and 1:1 Support Assistants for the new academic year starting in September 2026.

Your new role As an SEN Teaching Assistant or 1:1 Support Assistant, you ll play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to thrive both academically and socially.
Responsibilities may include: Providing 1:1 support for pupils with SEN Supporting children with Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language needs, and other additional learning needs Implementing strategies to support behaviour and engagement Encouraging independence, confidence and social development Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and other professionals Creating a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment Roles are available on both a full-time and part-time basis, with long-term opportunities throughout the academic year.
