School Administrator & Cover Coordinator

Are you an experienced school administrator looking for your next opportunity? Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-organised school seeking an experienced School Administrator and Cover Coordinator to join their office team on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start available. This is a varied and rewarding role that will see you playing a key part in the smooth day-to-day running of the school office, whilst also taking responsibility for coordinating teaching cover and supporting staff absence management. This is a temporary position to start ASAP for approx 6-8 week, potentially until the end of term. Your new role Managing front-of-house reception duties and visitor enquiries Providing administrative support to the wider school team Maintaining accurate pupil and staff records Organising daily teaching cover and responding to staff absences Liaising with supply agencies and internal staff regarding cover requirements Supporting staff attendance, communications and general school administration Using school MIS systems and Microsoft Office packagesWhat you ll need to succeed Availability on short notice with the flexibility to support in an interim role Previous experience working within a school office environment Experience organising teaching cover or managing staff absences Strong administrative and organisational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abil...
