Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced special school in Sandwell that supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, learning difficulties, communication needs and social, emotional and mental health challenges.
The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team for the new academic year.
What You ll Be Doing Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
Helping students engage with learning and achieve their individual targets.
Encouraging communication, social interaction and emotional wellbeing.
Supporting pupils during lessons, breaktimes, educational visits and enrichment activities.
Implementing behaviour support strategies and promoting positive outcomes.
Working closely with teachers, therapists and senior leaders to provide the best possible support.
