Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils both in and out of the classroom, helping them access learning, develop independence and reach their individual goals. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working with children or young people
- A positive, patient and resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- An interest in supporting pupils with additional needs
- Experience in education, care, support work, youth work or residential settings is desirable
