Location: Rugby

Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Hays Education are working in partnership with a specialist SEN school to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Primary Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This role involves leading a KS2 class of pupils who are working at an Early Years developmental level and follow a semi-formal curriculum pathway. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, personalised learning experiences that meet the individual needs of pupils with complex additional needs.

Your new role

  • Full classroom responsibility, including planning, delivery, and assessment
  • Adapting the curriculum to ensure all pupils can access learning effectively
  • Producing reports and attending parent/carer meetings
  • Creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
  • Working closely with support staff, therapists, and families to achieve the best outcomes for pupils

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN, SEMH, autism, or complex learning needs
  • Strong understanding of differentiated and personalised learning
  • Passionate about supporting pupils to reach their full potential
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
