Hays Education are working in partnership with a specialist SEN school to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Primary Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis. This role involves leading a KS2 class of pupils who are working at an Early Years developmental level and follow a semi-formal curriculum pathway. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, personalised learning experiences that meet the individual needs of pupils with complex additional needs.
Your new role
- Full classroom responsibility, including planning, delivery, and assessment
- Adapting the curriculum to ensure all pupils can access learning effectively
- Producing reports and attending parent/carer meetings
- Creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
- Working closely with support staff, therapists, and families to achieve the best outcomes for pupils
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with pupils with SEN, SEMH, autism, or complex learning needs
- Strong understanding of differentiated and personalised learning
- Passionate about supporting pupils to reach their full potential
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
