I am working with an outstanding primary school in South Manchester that has a number of temporary Teaching Assistant vacancies to support pupils across Early Years and Key Stage 1 education in a school that genuinely values its staff.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting learning by working closely with class teachers to deliver high quality teaching and learning.
- Providing targeted SEN support for individuals and small groups.
- Creating an inclusive environment where every child feels safe, supported and ready to learn.
- Developing communication and social skills through positive interaction and encouragement.
- Contributing to assessments and monitoring pupil progress.
- Promoting positive behaviour and upholding the school’s values and ethos.
Who we’re looking for:
- Experience of working with children - ideally of a primary age range or in an SEN setting.
- A caring, patient approach and a genuine passion for supporting children.
- Strong communication and teamwork.
