Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant looking to support pupils with additional needs in a specialist learning environment?
Hays Education is working in partnership with a dedicated SEN school seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.
This specialist setting caters for pupils with General Learning Difficulties (GLD) and is committed to helping every young person reach their full potential through tailored support, encouragement and high-quality education.
Your new role
Working closely with teachers and therapists, you will: Provide tailored support to pupils with general learning difficulties.
Assist in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities.
Support pupils with social, emotional and communication development.
Adapt resources and learning materials to meet individual needs.
Promote independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families.
Contribute to EHCP targets and individual learning programmes.
What you'll need to succeed
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
A caring, patient and resilient approach.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
