Your new company Hays Eduction are working with a one-form entry primary school based in Ellesmere Port to recruit an administrator to cover mornings only. This part time administration job will be 8 -1, Monday-Friday during term time. The school are looking for someone to start asap on an ongoing basis. Your new role For this school administration role, you will work alongside another full-time member of staff, supporting in a busy office environment during the morning session. Duties include: Responding to phone and email queries Signing people and deliveries into the school Inputting student details onto the system, including attendance data, lunch numbers and late arrivals Printing/ photocopying as required Handling post coming in and out of school Calling parents to arrange meetings/ pass on messages What you\’ll need to succeed For this school administration role, prior experience of working in a school is an advantage, but not essential as training can be provided on the systems. You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, and have a proven record of prioritising tasks while working in a busy environment. You will be comfortable using MS Office, and remain professional at all times while dealing with diverse groups of people. To work in a school, you will require an enhanced DBS certificate.
