Hays Education is supporting 2 SEN Trusts/schools to recruit permanent qualified Occupational Therapists for roles in the Wandsworth area, one for primary-age children and one for secondary-age children. These positions offer the opportunity to work within specialist education settings supporting children and young people with a wide range of additional and complex needs.
The role as an Occupational Therapist within an SEN school includes:
- Assessing pupils' functional, sensory, and motor needs
- Delivering individual and group-based OT interventions
- Supporting pupils with sensory integration, fine and gross motor skills
- Contributing to EHCP outcomes and multidisciplinary planning
