About the Role
As an Attendance Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring student attendance, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and working closely with staff and families to promote high levels of attendance across the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update daily attendance records using the school's MIS (e.g. SIMS/Arbor)
- Follow up on unexplained absences via phone, email, and written communication
- Produce attendance reports and provide data to support senior leadership
- Work with pastoral teams to identify and address attendance concerns
- Liaise with parents/carers regarding attendance and punctuality
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and attendance policies
- Support wider administrative duties within the school office where required
