Your new school is looking for dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to join our network of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) schools across Greater Manchester.

Location: Various Schools across Greater Manchester

Contract Types: Day to Day Supply, Long-term Temporary, Temp to Perm

Rates: Up to £125/day

Types of Schools You'll Work In:

  • Primary and Secondary School - with a high percentage of pupils with special needs and disabilities or specialist SEND units
  • SEMH - (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Primary and Secondary Schools
  • PRU - Pupil Referral Units
  • Specific Provision - HI (Hearing impairment), VI (Visual Impairment), ASD (Autism), PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities), SLD/PD (Significant learning difficulties/Physical disabilities)
  • Alternative Provision - Tailored education for pupils unable to attend mainstream schools
  • Young Offender Institutions / Secure Schools - Supporting education for young people in custody

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children with SEND or SEMH needs (school or care setting).
  • Relevant Qualifications are beneficial, but not essential! (TA Level 2/3, Makaton, BSL, Team Teach or other similar)
  • A passion for supporting children with SEND or SEMH needs
  • Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to adapt to different environments and pupil needs
