Primary Teacher (SEND/SEMH) in Lutterworth

Woodfield School is delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our community and take on the position of Primary Teacher. The appointed candidate will predominantly work with our younger children (aged 8 to 11). Due to the nature of our provision, these pupils are working at EYFS/KS1 level - it would therefore be highly advantageous if you have existing knowledge, experience and/or awareness around the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

Key responsibilities of the position will include:

• Creating a learning culture & experience for pupils who find it a challenge to engage with a full programme of onsite learning.
• Working with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis to reengage them with onsite learning.
• Assisting in the managing and developing of a given class and/or a group of pupils.
• Contributing to an appropriate environment for pupil learning.
• Ensuring high levels of engagement with staff, pupils, parents and the wider learning communities.

QTS is an essential requirement for this role.
