Your new role As Head of Science, you will:

  • Lead and manage the Science department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all key stages
  • Drive student outcomes through effective curriculum planning, assessment, and intervention strategies

What you'll need to succeed We are looking for:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with strong subject knowledge across Science
  • Proven experience of teaching Science to both GCSE and A-Level
  • Previous leadership experience in science is essential
  • Physics specialism is desirable but not essential
  • A track record of improving outcomes and delivering high-quality teaching
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills
