Hays Education are working in partnership with a warm and nurturing nursery setting in Wolverhampton to recruit a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant for an immediate start. This is a part-time role, ideal for a passionate early years practitioner who is confident about supporting young children in their crucial developmental stages. This well-established nursery prides itself on creating a caring, inclusive environment where children aged 2-4 are encouraged to explore, learn and grow through play-based learning. The setting promotes strong relationships, independence and curiosity, ensuring every child feels safe, valued and supported.

As a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Take responsibility for a small key group of children aged 2-3
  • Support their learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, staff and parents
  • Contribute to a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment
  • Observe, assess and record children’s progress

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
  • Experience working with children aged 2-3 years
  • Confidence managing a small group of key children
  • A caring, patient and proactive approach
  • A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one via Hays)

What you’ll get in return:

  • Paid up to £110 per day (depending on experience)
