Your new company Hays Education Wirral is a market-leading recruitment agency supporting primary schools across the Wirral Local Authority. We are currently working with a Wirral-based Primary School to recruit a KS2 teacher to take on full class teaching responsibilities from February half-term.

Your new role involves full class teaching responsibilities, including long-term planning and marking, starting in September. Responsibilities include:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective KS2 lessons to students.
  • Assess and mark students' work, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • To apply for this role, you must be passionate and driven, with a strong desire to be a successful teacher.
  • A minimum of 2 months' teaching experience in the past 4 years (this can include university placements).
  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
  • You must have a PGCE, QTS or QTLS.
  • If you don't have a PGCE, QTS, QTLS or recent teaching experience, you can register as a Teaching Assistant or cover supervisor, provided you have worked with children for 1 month in the past 4 years.
  • We welcome applicants who are currently working for other agencies.
