Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for committed and caring SEN Teaching Assistants to work in inclusive and welcoming schools across the Kettering area. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference to pupils' learning and development while gaining valuable experience in a supportive school setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech & language difficulties.
- Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support and deliver Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
- Support pupils with communication, sensory, emotional, and social development.
- Assist with classroom organisation and inclusive learning activities tailored to individual needs.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with children.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN, autism, or learning difficulties is highly desirable.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
