The Role

  • Lead, develop and manage the Mathematics department.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
  • Extensive experience teaching Mathematics within a UK secondary school setting.
  • Previous leadership experience within a curriculum area or department (Head of Department, Second in Department, Key Stage Lead or similar experience is advantageous).
  • A strong understanding of the secondary Mathematics curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for raising standards and improving student outcomes.
  • Access to a car is desirable due to the school's location.
