Hays Education are seeking a dedicated and adaptable General Teacher (SEN) to join a welcoming school in North Tyneside, working within a specialist base supporting Key Stage 3 pupils with Special Educational Needs. The Role
You will be responsible for delivering a broad and engaging curriculum tailored to the individual needs of KS3 pupils within the specialist provision. Working closely with support staff and the wider school team, you will create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment that enables pupils to develop both academically and socially.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEN needs
- Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment
- Supporting pupils' academic, emotional, and social development

What You'll Need
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with pupils with SEN, SEMH, ASD, or additional learning needs

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
