Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Southam area to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, and is offered on a temporary agency basis through Hays Education. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the pupil's learning, development, and wellbeing throughout the school day.
The Role
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil.
- Support learning both inside and outside of the classroom.
- Build positive relationships with the pupil, staff, and parents.
- Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

- Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting.
- Experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis.
