SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about improving outcomes for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and who thrives in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

Your New Role:

  • Lead the strategic development of SEN provision and ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice
  • Identify, assess, and monitor the progress of pupils with SEND
  • Work closely with teaching staff to implement effective intervention strategies
  • Liaise with parents/carers, external agencies, and professionals to support student progress
  • Manage and support teaching assistants and SEN support staff
  • Ensure high standards of teaching and learning for all pupils with additional needs

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
