This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school environment where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the school s finances. The role is offered on a 12-month basis, in the first instance, with working arrangements of approximately 30 hours per week, term time only + 3 weeks contract. Your new role Reporting to the School Business Manager, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the school, ensuring accuracy, compliance and effective financial administration. Processing purchase orders, invoices and payments Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records Supporting budget monitoring and financial reporting Managing income collection and banking procedures Liaising with suppliers and resolving invoice queries Assisting with month-end and year-end financial processes Supporting payroll administration where required Ensuring compliance with school financial regulations and proceduresWhat you ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous finance experience, ideally within a school or public sector setting Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail Experience using financial systems a...
