EYFS Teachers Required - Southport

Due to a significant increase in demand, Hays Education are seeking experienced EYFS Teachers to work across a number of primary schools in Southport. We are looking for high-quality Early Years practitioners who can support Nursery and Reception settings, delivering engaging, child-centred learning and strong early development outcomes.

The Role:

  • Day-to-day, short-term and long-term EYFS teaching opportunities
  • Deliver high-quality provision in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support early phonics, communication and language development
  • Create a nurturing, stimulating and safe classroom environment
  • Work effectively with support staff and senior leaders

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong EYFS experience (Nursery or Reception)
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework and assessment
  • Confident delivering phonics (e.g. RWI, Letters and Sounds)
  • Experience with continuous provision and play-based learning
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
