Your new school
You will be joining a dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) specialist school that supports students who require a highly nurturing, trauma informed and personalised approach to learning. Serving KS3 pupils, the school provides a structured yet flexible environment where relationships, wellbeing and safety come first. As part of a committed, multi-disciplinary team, you will help create a stable, supportive environment where young people can re-engage with education, develop confidence and work towards positive long term outcomes.
Your new role
The school is seeking a full time KS3 Drama or PSHE Teacher with QTS to deliver creative, engaging and accessible lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs. In this role, you will:
- Plan and teach Drama or PSHE lessons that build confidence, communication skills, and social/emotional development.
- Adapt learning to meet a wide range of needs, including those with SEN, trauma histories, or barriers to engagement.
- Foster a safe, encouraging classroom climate where students feel valued and understood.
- Work as part of a supportive team including pastoral, SEN and therapeutic staff.
- Contribute to positive behaviour support strategies and whole school wellbeing approaches.
- Play an active role in the wider school community and enrichment opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
- Experience teaching Drama or PSHE, ideally at KS3.
