Your new school Hays are currently recruiting for a Design and Technology teacher at a large comprehensive school in Bridgend. The leadership team create a welcoming and inclusive environment for the pupils to succeed. They have excellent facilities and high standards of teaching throughout the school. Your new role Starting in January, you will be a full-time teacher dealing with a range of lessons and specialising in Product Design and Engineering. You will have responsibilities such as: Teach KS3 – KS4 Nurture a range of learning abilities Staff meetings Parent’s evenings, Pastoral responsibilities, Planning and preparation of lessons, marking and assessment What you’ll need to succeed Qualified teaching Status or PCET with secondary school experience Experience of teaching Engineering and Product Design Proven track record of helping students Strong classroom management skills Registered with the Education Workforce Council Hold a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one NQT’s encouraged to apply!
