Your new company Hays Education is working exclusively with a nursery in Coventry looking to expand an already excellent team of qualified practitioners. The nursery is conveniently situated close to the city centre and has easy accessible transport links as well as on-site parking.
The nursery is looking for a Level 3 qualified nursery practitioner to join their team on a full-time basis. You will be based in their pre-school room and will be responsible for key children, completing learning journals and observations. The nursery is willing to help support and train you if you do not have much experience with carrying out observations. This job is full time, all year round, working 38.75 hours per week Monday to Friday.
What you'll need to succeed:
- You MUST have a Level 3 in Early Years and experience working as a nursery practitioner in a childcare setting.
- You will be required to carry out observations and complete learning journals. However, further training can be provided if you have limited experience.
- You will have a bubbly and friendly personality, have the ability to engage with children of all ages within the nursery.
- You will be proactive and be able to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- A Paediatric First Aid would also be desirable, but not essential as the nursery can enrol you on a course.
