We are currently recruiting for an experienced Receptionist/Administrator to join a welcoming and busy primary school in Bradford on a temporary basis, covering a planned staff absence.
Position Details
- Role: Receptionist / Administrator
- Location: Bradford
- Start Date: September 2026
- Duration: 3 to 4 weeks
- Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm
- Lunch Break: 1 hour unpaid
- Paid Hours: 6 hours per day
- Contract: Temporary, full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, pupils and staff.
- Managing the school reception area and handling enquiries professionally.
- Maintaining pupil records and updating school databases.
- Answering telephone calls and responding to emails.
- Supporting attendance administration and general office duties.
- Assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of the school office.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a school office environment.
- Strong working knowledge of SIMS is essential or highly desirable.
- Experience using ParentPay and SchoolPing would be advantageous, although not essential.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
- A professional, friendly and approachable manner.
