Your new company Hays Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Blackpool to recruit a dedicated and adaptable PPA Cover Teacher for a long-term position starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher who enjoys variety and is confident delivering engaging lessons across different year groups. The successful candidate will provide high-quality cover across the school, enabling class teachers to access their Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time while ensuring continuity of learning for pupils.

Your new role:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Provide high-quality teaching and learning during teachers' PPA time
  • Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Effectively manage behaviour and maintain high expectations throughout the school
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Support the wider school community and contribute to school life

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching across primary age ranges is desirable
  • Flexible, adaptable, and confident teaching different year groups
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality learning experiences for all pupils
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
