The Role
- Deliver engaging and inspirational lessons across construction trade programmes.
- Plan, prepare and assess high-quality learning activities that meet curriculum and industry requirements.
- Support students to develop both technical and employability skills.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and employers.
- Contribute to course development, quality improvement and curriculum enhancement activities.
What We're Looking For
- Industry experience within construction trades
- NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area
- A recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A passion for helping learners achieve their potential
- Knowledge of safeguarding and learner support responsibilities
The following would be advantageous:
- Assessor and/or verifier qualifications
- Previous teaching experience within a post-16 or further education setting
