The Role

  • Deliver engaging and inspirational lessons across construction trade programmes.
  • Plan, prepare and assess high-quality learning activities that meet curriculum and industry requirements.
  • Support students to develop both technical and employability skills.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Industry experience within construction trades
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant subject area
  • A recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A passion for helping learners achieve their potential
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and learner support responsibilities

The following would be advantageous:

  • Assessor and/or verifier qualifications
  • Previous teaching experience within a post-16 or further education setting
  • Strong employer and industry links
